Members of the Cheshire Challenger Little League attended the Cheshire Kiwanis meeting on September 14, 2010 to thank the club for the years of support to the Challenger program.
Challengers, is a division of Little League that offers children ages 4-21 with physical and/or developmental disabilities the opportunity to play in an organized baseball league.
The Challengers depend on the support of the community and sponsors to keep the league running season after season.
The Cheshire Kiwanis Club has been a sponsor for the Challengers' Rockies Team for more than 10 years.
Challengers President, Doug Wipfler arrived with two players to present Kiwanis with their 2010 Sponsor Plaque, a trophy for their more than 10 years of support to the league and a cake to show their appreciation.
