The John J Nerden RTC Camp held it's annual Halloween Party on Sunday, October 26, 2008 in Middlefield CT.

For more than 40 years, Camp Nerden has provided many special needs children and adults with a summer filled with enjoyment and learning. Campers  leave with many precious memories of summer with their friends.

They offer a 7-week summer camp program along with many "winter camp" activities, such as Movie Nights, Dances, Bowling and the annual Halloween Party.

The days festivities began with a pumpkin hunt on the grounds. Pumpkins are donated to the camp each year by Tower Farms of Cheshire CT

The party-goers  decorated their pumpkins in the Arts and Crafts building,
and played a few games.....
before heading back up the hill to have their pictures taken with their pumpkins.
After decorating frames for their photos in the music building and a rousing game of "Pass the Broom"........
everyone had a chance to bust the pinata.
